From a Hotel to a Cafeteria to a Gym
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ [CHI] — More than 500 people attended the Yom Kippur services at Chabad Jewish Center of Monroe. Led by Shliach Rabbi Eliezer Zaklikovsky the High Holidays services have grown over the last few years since moving on Shlichus with his wife Chanie and their family.

After growing out of the space at a local hotel, Chabad moved to the cafeteria at the Monroe Township High School but have subsequently outgrown that space as well and moved the services to the gymnasium where they could accommodate all the Shul goers.
People attending the service enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as the inspirational insights Rabbi Zaklikovsky shared throughout the service. “These services are the highlight of our High Holidays,” said Morris Katzberg, a congregant who attended the service with his wife Martha. “We look forward to this every year,” chimed in Martha.
“We strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable to pray, learn and be inspired,” said Rabbi Zaklikovsky, “We look forward to even more growth in the future.”
