PSA: Police Funeral To Cause Extensive Traffic North of Eastern Parkway Friday

A police funeral scheduled for Friday morning will bring heavy traffic and congestion North of Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights with some street closures expected.

The congestion is expected to center on Park Pl from Utica Ave to Brooklyn Ave with spillover vehicle congestion causing parking chaos and a traffic nightmare on the surrounding streets from approximately 6:30am through some time after 3:00pm.

Residents are advised to be prepared and expect heavy delays.
