SHOMRIM ALERT: Woman Entered Jewish Crown Heights School And Attempted to Abduct A Child

by CrownHeights.info

Crown Heights Shomrim has released an urgent alert to the Crown Heights community after a non-Jewish woman entered a local Jewish school and attempted to abduct a child.

Sources tell CrownHeights.info that the woman entered a local Jewish school claiming that she was there to “pick up her child”. Her actions were immediately noticed by the staff who worked quickly to intercept her.

While the staff member walked the woman out of the building, a Jewish mother was in the lobby of the daycare with her baby. The woman began to converse with her, but after just a few moments made an attempt to grab the child.

Staff again quickly intervened and forced the woman to leave the premises.

Shomrim and the police were notified, and residents are asked to please be extra aware of your children as the police investigate.

If You See Something, Say Something! Please call 911 and Shomrim immediately at 718-774-3333.

This story is developing and will be updated as information becomes available.

  • Concerned parent

Why weren’t shomrim and 911 called immediately??!?
Is there a guard for the daycare?
This is very scary and must be prevented.
Perhaps a security code should be given to legitimate workers?

  • Forced her to leave???

Forced her to leave?? They should have grabbed her and waited for police, so that when she kidnaps a kid next week they’ll have her information.
