J’ouvert & West Indian American Labor Day Parade Is Back and Taking Place This Weekend

by CrownHeights.info

Nearly three million people are expected to descend on the Crown Heights area for an annual J’ouvert & West Indian American Labor Day Parade that has been canceled the last two years.

The annual festival’s main event, with its loud music and large crowd, will take place on Monday, September 5th from early in the morning through the evening hours of the day. An earlier Juniors event will take place on Shabbos, September 3rd, also in Crown Heights.

With the influx of millions of people also comes a ramping up of security. Thousands of cops and a large cordon of the surrounding blocks is expected throughout the weekend. Local residents are advised to take note of the closures and plan accordingly.

We ALL must be very diligent. There will be many drunk & rowdy people outside.
With the revolving door at the court system, there is NORHING for them to be worried about if they were to start up with anyone.
They have nothing to loose & a great deal of self satisfaction by doing something to a Yid.
