Two Friendship Circles Enter Chase Competition

Last Thursday, Chase Bank kicked off their third annual Chase Community Giving campaign, donating a total of $5 million to deserving charities. Nonprofits nationwide are competing in the Facebook based voting challenge for the chance to be one of 196 winners to receive grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000.

Friendship Circle of Crown Heights, along with its counterpart in Manalapan, NJ, joined the competition and hit the ground running to garner the votes necessary to beat out the thousands of other charities competing for the same prize.

For a grassroots non-profit like the Friendship Circle, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to further their vision of a world in which people with special needs experience acceptance, inclusion and friendship as valued members of society. The grant would give them the resources to expand their current programs, and create new ones to match the ever growing need.

Every one is entitled to vote twice, one for each Friendship Circle.

If you have an account with Chase Bank, every vote to a charity is doubled. visit chasegiving.com and choose the Charity you are voting for, then chose the 2nd one.
