Tonight: Shloshim for Rabbi Shlomo Lakein, OBM

The Crown Heights community will gather tonight to mark the Shloshim of Rabbi Shlomo Lakein, OBM, founder of Darchei Menachem and community activist, who passed away one month ago at the age of 67.

The gathering will take place tonight, Thursday, 7:30pm at Empire Shteibel, 489 Empire Blvd. [between Brooklyn and New York Aves.]

A siyum will be held in his memory, followed by a Seudas Mitzvah.

    I see this and my heart hurts.
    I didn’t know him well, but somehow I always knew he was a nice, smart, and good person.
    May his family be comforted and know only of happiness and simchos from now on.
    May we merit the coming of Moshiach already, with V’Hekitzu V’Raninu Shochnei Offor.
    He can come dancing back to his family while my father dances back to us!
