This Motzei Shabbos: An Hour with the Rebbe

As thousands of Bochurim from around the world prepare to travel to Crown Heights for Yud Shvat, a special program is being arranged that will unite all Temimim for ‘an hour with the Rebbe.’

The event will take place in 770 this Motzei Shabbos, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, followed by the central Yud Shvat farbrengen.

A special video presentation will be shown, with a combination of sichos and nigunim related to Yud Shevat. 770 will be set up like a Farbrengen with the Rebbe in the 1980s.

Due to the limited amount of space, the event will be exclusively for Bochurim, and Anash are asked not to participate.

The event is being arranged by the students of Tomchei Temimim in 770, with the encouragement of Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi – Mashpia of Tomchei Tmimim in 770, and Rebbi Sholom Charitonov – Mashpia in Oholei Torah Zal.

    if its achdus why is it starting same time as what has become known as the real achdus event where all yeshivas attend, which is at beis rivkah?

    this is not for achdus, this is only to try and harm the vadd peulah.

    hence no real name behind it.

    the last time they did this event under the “acdus” flag.

    it was everything but achdus,

    the event was moved inside of 770, so that the organizers can claim at the last minute that they lost control of the event once its in 770.

    as usual the tzefatim played the video they chose, and organizers “claimed they were not in control, which was proven to be not true.

    this event is organized by people who represent and front for Mendel Hendel. through a few Shields of people to hide that fact.

    This “achdus” is such a farce. It is not called achdus to make an event at the exact same time as the vaad event… The vaad already has more than a chazakah, and their event is beautiful and full of achdus…
    This type of phony achdus is not gonna bring moshiach closer…
    Your intentions are so transparent… It is not achdus that you are persuing… Why don’t u just say it straight out? Why hide behind the veil of achdus?!

    This is the exact opposite of achdus. This as the same time as the event of beis rivkah. CROWNHEIGHTS.INFO you should be ashamed of yourself for posting this .PERIOD.

    Why is it that all “achdus” events must take place in or by the basement of 770, which is currently (and unfortunately) controlled by Meshichistim?

    If it’s for TRUE achdus, then it could be anywhere else.

    Every-time the Meshichistim are in a jam (currently the COTS issue…which most of those that went are meshichistim or meshichist leaning people), they come up with this “Achdus” B.S. This is in-order to secure their place in Chabad Lubavitch, “Hay, look we still belong”.

    Anyone who falls for this trick, is a fool and is giving a helping hand to those who have made a mockery of the Rebbe zt”l.

    Lets clarify
    1) the vaad first announced 830 so this program was made 730 not to interfere i guess the vaad switched their plans…
    2) Gimmel tammuz was totaly in hashems hands. the rain caused them to have to move indoors. Thus causing the tzfatim to go nuts because the video was from…..JEM. Oy vey that terrible for a tzfati. like always they ruined the event. they took the dvd out of the player and ran off with it. A second tzfati put in his own video. the event organizers were furious but could do nothing. after the event the organizers chose not to say anything as the whole event was for achdus, They surely did not want it to become a big machlokis.

    But there is always a second chance (like pesach Sheini) lets all be there.
