Menorah Parade to Be More Organized than Ever

This year the world’s largest Menorah parade, held annually in New York City, will be organized with the help of a brand new state-of-the-art coordination system, which will allow participants to easily sign up, submit their license and registration, select their vehicle type, and be appointed a ‘zone’ for the parade setup. The new system will keep the parade more efficient, orderly and organized.

The parade this year will be on Monday, 29 Kislev (December 2).

The NYPD requires every driver participating in the parade to register their license and registration. Drivers must scan their license and registration in the online registration system. The information will be accessible to the NYPD only.

Additionally, the online system will further enhance the parade experience, providing participants with the option to purchase Mitzvoim supplies (Menorah kits, Mivtzoim guides and Chanukah flags). The supplies will be delivered to the purchaser’s vehicle before the parade, along with a suggested Mivtzoim location.

Please note that there will be a police barricade at the entrance of the parade line-up, and only registered cars will be allowed to participate in the Parade.

Register today to reserve your spot at the parade by clicking here: www.MenorahParade.com

Update for last year’s participants: If your license and registration has not expired from last year, and you have the same car, you do not need to send it this year. The parade organizers will have them on file for your convenience.

Update: Registration will be open only until 11:00pm this Motzei Shabbos.

The NYPD requires all paraders to register online. Don’t forget to go online and register before its too late. There will be absolutely no unregistered drive-ins allowed.

You can register at www.menorahparade.com.
