Hundreds of Ready-Made ‘Free Rubashkin’ Signs Available for Pick Up

In an effort to bring the case of Sholom Rubashkin to the attention of the President and media, volunteers have worked hard and prepared hundreds of catchy signs in support of Rubashkin.

They are urging anyone and everyone who cares about this cause to come ASAP to the following places to pick up (remember, stores will be closing early):

– The Sushi Spot

– Kol Tuv outside

– 770 downstairs (near big pushka)

– Kahn’s

– B.R. Crown St

– Albany Bakery

– Empire Kosher

A message from the organizers:

Starting from early afternoon (don’t wait till 2:00 or 3:00 pm, it may be too late), pay attention to any sign of the motorcade and head out to the street and display your signs. Please be alert and please be patient. Please be sure to be on the street as well for the President’s return trip (might be via a different avenue)!

When you pick up your signs, please pick up a few more to hand to your family, friends and to other people on the street.

Remember the word’s of Mordechai to Esther in the Megilah: Revach vehatzalah yaamod layehudim… To paraphrase the Rebbeim’s explanation: Sholom Mordechai will surely be freed in a big Kiddush Hashem, the question is only will your Neshama have the zechus?

Please act today and show the President, show the media and show Sholom Mordechai that you care!

    These are great signs. The messages vary (not just the one in the picture above), they are big and noticeable.

    Please come ASAP to pick up!

    Remember, we are not just hoping the President sees it, it may also be carried by the media and others. You never know what kind of impact it can have. And we have to our Hishtadlus.

    Please take part and don’t simply rely on ‘others’ to to do this.

    Maybe he should dress up as a turkey. The President always pardons a turkey before Thanksgiving.

    Pardon’s are only for guilty people. Obviously the rebbe reb shalom is innocent. Instead the signs should say “overturn the anti semetic judge’s decision!”

      There is no doubt that he is guilty. However he didn’t deserve the sentence he got. He should have received a 2 year sentence not 27 years.

      There is every doubt that he is guilty. He did nothing wrong. But you’re wrong about pardons only being for guilty people.

      In any case, what do you mean by overturning his conviction? How could the president possibly do that?

    Sholom Mordechai is sitting right now in hell. His family is in incredible pain.

    Imagine his feeling to know that YOU left your house on a busy Shabbos afternoon to pick up a sign and display it to the world. That he is not forgotten.

    Take a few minutes of YOUR FREEDOM, through away your BASHFULNESS (true its the siman of yid, but what follows is Rachmanim and Goimlei Chassadim), and hold a sign high up for the world to see.

    May Hashem answer all of our tefillos.

    Most people were not holding signs but doing bitul zman on erev Shabbos and even worse cheering. Stupid. So interesting? Do a great moitzva of pidyon on the way back.
