As a few of our commenter’s have mentioned, there is a Police Council Meeting held once a month which is open to all residents to come and voice any concern or complaint they you may have, which we all know we do.

The meeting takes place in the IS 61/MS 61 (the public school) which is located on Empire and New York (diagonally across from the police station) at 7:30pm today [Thursday].

Another note is that to be eligible to vote for the precinct council meeting you need to attend to at least 3 meeting of the possible 10 meeting's that take palace a year. So be there and be heard and make it count.

What if 15 or 30 Lubavitchers would show up!! Maybe the blacks would stop saying that they are treated like Palestinians while the folks on Kingston are like Jerusalem! The Police need to hear–and the blacks need to know–that there is a lot of crime in the Jewish areas and we ALL need better protection.

there are only 10 meetings a year – no meetings during july and august. For voting purposes, you have to attend 3 times and the last month to be counted is March 06, therefore January, February and March are the 3 months that will count. There is still time to make a difference. Tonight 7.30 pm is the Precinct Council meeting – one of the 3 that still can make a difference.
