This picture was published for the very first time in the Kfar Chabad Magazine supplement “Aspaklirya”. Kfar Chabad received the picture from Rabbi Sholom Ber Levin, head librarian of the Aguch Library. It is believed that the picture was taken during one of the days during the week after the wedding.
This Shabbos the 14th of Kislev will mark 79 years of the Rebbe’s wedding with Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka daughter of the Previous Rebbe on the 14th of Kislev 1928.
A few days before the wedding the Rebbe received a letter from his father Reb Levik of saintly memory (printed in Likutei Levi Yitzchok Page 207) in which he writes: “Under the chuppa make sure to wear the sirtuk made out of silk (which you probably have tailored made as I requested of you) and after the wedding make sure to daven all the Tefilos including Birchos Hashachar in a gartel.”
Once during a farbrengen the Rebbe said: “This is the day (my wedding) that connected me with you (the chassidim).”

I am just curious. Where did all these pictures suddenly appear from, that up till now we had no access to.It looks like M.Kirchenbaum has all these hidden pictures of the Rebbe and every so often he liberates one for the public.

The picture is NOT during the Rebbe’s sheva brochos, as it says on on the magazine cover it is during that time period. they don’t know exactly when it was taken..

Very simple, it just isn’t the Rebbe n"a, and I am just pointing out discrepancies that prove it. Actually it is your comment that is rude! I just don’t happen to believe it is the Rebbe n"a. I have never seen any pictures of the Rebbe with glasses at that age. Have You? But of course, if someone says it’s the Rebbe, you don’t think – of course, it must be and let’s have a go at the person who suggests otherwise, and make money on selling it. As for derech eretz, well didn’t your parents ever teach you that someone can have a different opinion to yours without insulting them. My final point, the man in the picture is obviously posing. Can you imagine the Rebbe wasting time posing? Well, my derech eretz for the Rebbe n"a is such that I don’t believe he would have! And by the way, I’m long long past the young kid stage.
