Look out Crown Heights Foodies, a new option will soon be available in Crown Heights. Bread and Dairy Cafe’s signage has gone up on Kingston Ave, and the food will follow soon.

There seems to be more and more eateries in the shechuna! There also seems to be a direct correlation between the number of eateries and the number of pounds on the scale. More eateries, more waistline. No iskafya here! I guess we really mean it when we sing, Essen esst men, b’hidur, fressen. Now we just need to start opening gyms, one gym for each new eatery. But only the eateries will be full.
Does anybody know
What Store/restaurant is this replacing? If so please reply and let me know
chana k
Looking on Google maps, its Totally Her.
Hopefully
Hopefully they will have amazing food and service so they don’t end up closing down in a few years like a lot of restaurants end up doing
Shmully
I would bet that YES …
The owner has another store on the ave with great food.
Levy
What hashgacha?
Shmully
Probably CHK.
The owner has another store on the avenue that’s under CHK
Please
Don’t allow strollers or little kids throwing tantrums inside restaurant. There is nothing more obnoxious than trying to eat a meal in peace and not being able to due to an annoying frum mother not being able to control her toddler throwing a tantrum and taking up a lot of space with her stroller
Sounds like…
…you need to find another neighborhood in which to eat out. Ours is, BH, full of families with little kids, in keeping with Hashem’s Will and in keeping with how the Rebbe encouraged us throughout all the years to have large families. Would we like it if all of them were always well behaved? Sure, but life’s not like that.
Will it be
Under the chk kosher certification?
Hopefully
This place will be revolutionary and bring menu items that has never been seen in the kosher world and not just another standard nebach place with nothing fun and exciting on the menu
Please
Play play non Jewish music inside and from the outside just to trigger the annoying to frum people
Or, not
Because the Rebbe’s Shchunah deserves a higher standard.
Does anyone know
When is it opening? If so please reply and let me know?
Make Chabad BT Again
Anyone know if this place will be yoshon?
Shmully
The Rebbe wasn’t makpid on yoshon.
Why would it be an issue in the Rebbe’s shechuna???
Because
I’m sure they’d like people from other communities to eat there, and many of them are makpid on it.
Crown Heights
Restaurants are great for food lovers. But I’m afraid we definitely need more pediatric and adult dentists in the neighborhood! So much eating, this is just food for thought.
