Picture of the Day
Whatever side of the fence you may stand on in regards to this shul, all can agree that this is a sad ending to an era. Arguably the oldest Lubavitch Shul in the United States, the building that hosted Chevra Anshei Lubawitz on 12th Ave in Boro Park is now being demolished.
OY!!!!!!!!!!!
SO VERY SAD ? ? ? ? ? ?
WHY EXACTLY ???
Op
Travesty. Greedy people.

It’s a great day for the current members, we all deserve a nice beautiful updated synagauge.
The rightful owner prevailed!

How sad indeed! Money, money – blinds the eyes! It’s so sad to see a shul brubg demolished. . T’was a landmark. Owning property in Boro Park is like having a gold mine in your backyard! But remember ALL GOLD $ SILVER went to the Mishkan not to line greedy owner’s pockets.

Why should the people in Boro Park be less greedy than in crown heights
Rabbi Dalfin
Very sad but the board had years to hand this over to Merkos or the like and didn’t. They chose to go on their own and the slick chasidim stacked the board and stole the shul. This is lesson for others. More can be said but only in private. You can email me info@rabbidalfin.com.
