Contrast The Photos Wednesday VS. Friday

Garnisht! They’re exaggerating the smoke with a different camera setting and different time of day. There was smoke, but not THAT much smoke.
Sleeping
I assume that you were sleeping, or out of town. That’s what it actually looked like

Actually @sleeping… I was here in CH and awake BH. It ACTUALLY looked more like the photo accompanying Shia Hecht’s op-ed on another site.
The color in this photo is altered — look at the leaves, for example. I recall that the sky changed color, but not EVERY object in NYC!!!
