  • Do you see the difference?!

These days the teachers are in the back,

I Really do believe it has to do with the general decline of respect for teachers!!!!

  • very interesting

I went to stone ave also and there were many girls who were from various backgrounds and that was the beauty of the school in those days.Everyone got introduced to Lubavitch although at that time we did not study what they do today.Number 6- just keep your opinions to yourself.Everyone was welcome and the girls got along very well and there was none of the rigidity and judjment so prevalent today. It was a real Bais Rivkah and it was a lovely cohesive environment-i so remember morah matlin.

  • Gisa

BOTTOM ROW SITTING THIRD FROM THE LEFT IS MY BUBBY GISA MATLIN A’H.

THE MORAH GISA, THAT SINGLE HANDILY RAN THE BAIS RIVKAH IN PARIS, FRANCE FOR 7 YEARS AFTER WW2, UNTIL EVERYONE CAME TO NY AND THEN SHE CONTINUED WITH HER WORK IN BAIS RIVKAH – NY!

Whoever asks me whom am I named after, I am named after my Bubby Gisa A’H
