Picture of the Day: Moshiach Is in Tel-Aviv?

A reader sent us this photo of a strange advertisement in Jerusalem. What appears at first sight to be a typical Meshichist banner in the signature yellow red and blue, turns out to be something even more confusing: The sign declares that Moshiach is in Tel-Aviv. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Yes! Theres this wacko in Tel Aviv who claims he is moshiach. He sits by the shuk with two women and a huge shofar and tells everyone why he is moshiach. Boy, do we really need Moshiach!

nobody mentioned anything here about meshichistim.

You must be feeling guilty of something. On the head of the Ganef burns a hat.

  • Nothing new

They have these signs (aka regular pieces of paper) all over Israel-bus stops especially. And what’s even more bizarre is that the signs have a picture of the Rebbe Rashab on them.

OK, OK, this has gone far enough. I’m Moshiach. It’s me. I wear a pink fedora, and a beige striped suit. As you’d expect from a redeemer.

    Yippee Kayey.

I spoke to him in the shuk and asked him; who told you that you are Moshiach?? a: G-d himself! his friend got up very angry and shouted at him; I never told you so!!

  • what we-ve been waiting for!

according to his videos (pretty cool which movie did he take it from?) we have only 4 days from last year till we no longer exist. This is the Moshiach we have all been waiting for :)

  • Lived in Tel Aviv

Yeah he’s a nutso that sits in the Tel Aviv shuk with two ladies who feed him grapes. If you dare argue with him he’ll use every curse word there is.
He has a ‘source’ from the Rashab.

The problem is less that he needs meds,’and more that he takes too many ;-)
