Not worth it
The amount of stress to get there and fight through the crowds and being pushed and finally finding a good shoe only not to locate it’s match….
This is not for me. But good luck to all that get shoes there.
Mommy
The stress & aggravation is just not worth it.. I’d rather go to Little Feet here in Crown Heights, have my children’s feet properly measured & get service with a smile.
sw
dont go in the morning in the afternoon no on is there
satisfied mom
to #1 and #2. im sorry u felt that way. i generally get overwelmed as well in such situations. however, the 2 times i went to this particular event with my special needs child, the owner and his assistants helped me until i was satisified. it took a long time true and he was also assiting others in between, but he wasnt rude or frazzled and he gave everyone full attention and the workers helped us find the matches. not my ideal shopping experience but not too bad either. i guess everyone has their own preferences.

i love seeing all the bugaboo moms looking for cheap shoes!!

its good if u know ur kids size and getting the same shoe u get for 70 here for 30 dollars,so why not its worth it! Some might think its difficult but i think its perfect pricing for sheos!

Shoe buyer
I agree with the first posters. I can’t stand those sales. Everything is strewn all over, people grabbing, etc.
I went to Little Feet where I was treated with the utmost curteous and professional salespeople. I found beautiful shabbos shos for my 10yr old. They also have a frequent purchase discount card. I will definitely shop there again.
Remember
E & I treasure shoes on Kingston avenue rocks!!! Gutman treats the children so nicely! My kids love to go there. And there is always a huge selection.
bubby
I heard it was bh busy in the morning, I went in the afternoon and bought 6 pairs for all my grandchildren, I had there sizes that i bought on the last shoe sale and now bought the next size. A perfect rosh hashonah gift for all the kids , They also have childrens place tights for $2.50 each , Ribbons for the hair for yomtov, now we are all set for the winter, yes i had to find the pair, but dont compare the price, in a store they want double the price, and yes Elon is very helpful….

oh – thought maybe they were broke after buying the bugaboo :)

it is the funniest scene ever. pple line up in front and back of br like a bunch of chickens…im one of them, don’t worry ;) it is overwhelming, even after i get home i have to remind myself to calm down and relax so my heartbeat can slow down, but i went bec especially at the beg of the year, every kids needs two shoes,,,at least mine did, for weekday and shabbos, so i really did save a lot.
tips. i was there at 9. i came with helpers, one to try shoes on the first shift of kids (shoes which i picked up knowing their size ahead of time) and one to try on the second shift of kids while i exchange misfits etc. it is a comedy show though. kids walking around without shoes, one lady bringing big ikea bags to carry her goods in, i turn around, and i have pple going through my stash,,,pple eyeing your “goods” as you try them on, just in case….(hopefully :) they don’t fit….there’s no talking, chatting or any friendly getstures…it’s business…i joked with an old collegue that she had connections , since she was allowed in first, i got a stare and a snarl…as if i’d said the worst thing…go if it’s worth it, sometimes it is, sometimes it’s not…i have not gone for over a year now, bec. for one pair, it’s not worth the wait or aggravation for me…but please remember to chill a bit,,,it’s not so serious, it’s dumb shoes. ty.

A Bugaboo Mom
To number 5 and 9: I love how you are so quick to judge! Maybe the Bugaboo was a gift or something.
I agree with #16
Hey maybe it’s a gift or maybe people need to save somewhere in order to spend somewhere else.
