    2 suggestions:
Let them roast in the heat
Turn the hose on them & say oops !!!!

  • David

Giving importance to these guys is fuel to persist on their “mission”
Ignore them and they will dissapear

  • Mitnagid

One thing I don’t get(I am not from the States):are these guys from the much dreaded sect named Jews for Yoshke or are they non Jewish Xtians?

  • The Rebbe-s advice

Please remember what the Rebbe said… that we are not to engage in debates with them… v’dai l’meivin.

They never got a jew with any knowledge of Judaism. They have millions $$ to invest so they try the top. They didn’t want an ignorant jew. They just never got one jew who knew anything from torah in the last 2000 years.

Reminds me of another group in Crown Heights advocating a second coming and attempting to shove their beliefs regarding the identity of Moshiach down our throat.

  • Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz

This may seem ridiculous in Crown Heights but we shouldn’t laugh. There are more than 500,000 Jews who have converted to Christianity and missionaries are active worldwide, including Israel.

It is not always wise to engage these people but we need to “know how to answer” their arguments so if someone else in need approaches us we can help them. My Jewish Response To Missionaries booklet has been translated into 8 languages and is available for free download at http://www.JewsforJudaism.org. We are currently upgrading our website and if you would like to help please go to http://jewcer.com/project/r

How DARE you people compare those who take the Rebbe’s messages about Moshiach seriously, with these Yoshke freaks?????? You should be ashamed of yourselves! If you cannot accept the Rebbe’s messages about the Geula and you want to live your life without it, that’s your choice. But those of us who believe the Rebbe’s Sichos should NOT be referred to in such a disgusting manner.

  • Leah in VA

You don’t understand how serious this threat is. You may all be laughing, but it is a HUGE problem. I live in VA, and their headquarters are here. They show up at Jewish functions. They probably can not only read the sign, they probably wrote it themselves. They speak Hebrew. They know about our mitzvos. The approach lonely people. They approach teens. People think they are actually Jewish and find out later that they are not. They are bent on stealing souls. No one is standing up to them. Yes, you should not engage them. BUT, they MUST be stopped. They will friend you Facebook, and search your friend list for other Jewish friends. They network like crazy looking for vulnerable people. They shower them with love and kindness and “show them the right way”. Not only is it uninformed Jews. Frum kids who are looking for some extra TLC will find it given unconditionally. Go to JewsforJudaism, and see that no one is safe from these people. It is mamash pukach nefesh that we fight them.

When I was last approached by these types I simply pointed them to the section of Acharei Mos prohibiting the eating of blood. Short version; they require it, we forbid it. They did not have an answer and tried to change the subject back to their “comfort zone”. Don’t let them; keep them focused on the “kashah” and demand an answer. They will soon realize they are in an impossible situation and will back away.
