This is a June, 1953 group portrait of the Montreal Parc Avenue Beis Midrash.
Standing from right to left:
Rabbi Leibel Kramer, Velvel Marazov, Dovid Vichnin, Berel Mochkin, Ezreil Chaikin, Rabbi Elya Moshe Gerlitzky, Nissan Mangel, Shimon Eisenstein (a student from India), Eddy Kaddosh and Zalman Marazov.

That-s no hippie.
That’s no “hippie”, it’s someone dressed up as a hippie for a 1990 photo shoot. Another picture from that shoot was used on the cover of California Chabad People Helping People magazine, “Celebrating our 25th Year” with a caption “1965”. The bochur looks real though…
