From Days Gone By: A New Town Grows

50 years ago today, Yud Beis Tammuz, 1964, the cornerstone was laid for a new building in Kfar Chabad, called Beis Shazar.

The building was named to honor Shneur Zalman Shazar, Israel’s third President, who was very instrumental in assisting the Frierdiker Rebbe with the founding of Kfar Chabad 15 years prior.
