Freeda Gives Jewish Reality Star a Makeover

Popular web personality Allison Jospeh, who hosts her webshow Jew in the City, was the star in a show that was not her own. Freeda Wigs took Allison and ‘made her over,’ with a new complimentary wig and style. They shot a portion of the show at Basil in Crown Heights.

To answer comment number 5….YES it is very good for Yidden. In the face of all the awful press orthodox jews are getting these days, Allison gives Judaism a fresh and real perspective focussing on all the beautiful and positive aspects of being a frum Jew. Let the world see how MOST of us live. This is a real kiddush Hashem!

Allison Josephs (aka Jew in the City) runs the website http://JewintheCity.com whose mission is: Breaking down stereotypes about religious Jews and offering a humorous, meaningful look into Orthodox Judaism.

This does not appear to be a regular Jew in the City episode, but rather some sort of special makeover video, though I imagine it will somehow break down Orthodox stereotypes since it’s connected to Jew in the City.

    Can’t wait to see it!

  • @which is the new wig

It looks like we’re only seeing the BEFORE shots in these pics. They probably won’t show the new wig until the episode comes out.
