When learning in 770 as a bochur we once had a squirrel running across the shul. I still have a paw print in my shulchan oruch.

you citified people in CH–in Israel we s have birds flying around all the time in and out of shuls (even at the early bird minyan!!!)–and of course let’s not forget our avian friends at the Kotel…..I once even saw a parrot hanging out at a nearby shul walking in and out-an African Grey no less, (read lots of money over $1000 for these birds) birds of a feather stick together.happy flying.!!!..
