    Unidentified boy’s name was Yosef.
    Avrohom Elye was the famous chosid and gaon Harav Avrohom Eleh Plotkin! For those who are familiar with the claim that the famous Matzoh baking story told by the frierdike rebbe in Likuttei Dibburim about the power of “Zayoh shel mitzvah” was said about Avromella, take note of this picture, as this must have been the “before”!
    It is also unlikely that the picture was taken in 1910 as Avromella was born in 1888. He then would have been in this picture 22 years old, which is highly unlikely for numerous obvious reasons.

    First of all, before the Rebbe instilled the idea of Sheitel, the woman were not so Machmir on that. And Second of all, I can guarantee you that they were greater Tzidkaniyot than most woman I know.

    shaitel…my grandmother has a similar picture of her family same era in Ukraine. and she told me her mother was wearing a shaitel even though it didnt look it.
