Weekly Unique Photos of the Rebbe

CrownHeights.info and the Avner Institute presents a series of photos, from around 1986, which gives you a glimpse into the Rebbe’s room in 770, and how it looked on a regular basis. The pictures portray the Rebbe standing in the doorway of his room handing out lekach (honey cake) and delivering a public bracha for the new year.

This is the room that the Previous Rebbe gave to the Rebbe upon his arrival to the United States in 1941.

It was also the room that thousands of people came to for a private audience (yechidus) with the Rebbe.

As per the Rebbe’s secretaries, the Rebbe, in 1992, spent many hours clearing his room, which included sending many of the books back to his library (which is next door to 770).
