Unique Photo of the Frierdiker Rebbe!
CrownHeights.info and the Avner Institute would like to present a unique photo of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, The Rebbe is sitting on the porch which is right off his yechidus room in 770. The porch is on the right side of 770.
The building seen in the picture is now the Rebbe’s library (that’s how it looked before an additional floor was added and a new brick façade was added to the entire building (to resemble 770), over twenty years ago). Greenery was placed around the perimeters of the porch to obstruct the view of passersby on the street.
with special thanks to the Gal family from Petach Tikva, Israel, and to Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz, Principal Beth Rivkah Academy Canada

Old enough to remember
This is an original.
The Rebbe is sitting on the porch on the side of 770 where they build the large Sukka. You can tell from the background wall which is from the next door building which now houses the library before it was rebuilt to match 770.
