Picture of the Day! Servicing the Fire Hydrants
Firefighters from Ladder Company 132, which is based out of 489 St. John’s Place, were seen around Crown Heights doing their bi-yearly inspections of the fire hydrants in their response area, our neighborhood.

Well really now.
yeah, well that’s why the firemen are “servicing the hydrants”, to clear out the dirt that built up from non use. Did you ever go on vacation, and then come back and turn on your faucet? for the first few seconds, the water will be brown.
