what is the question, it is for sure pasul – any esrog that you cannot hold in one hand is Pasul

  • facts

Any esrog that’s left on the tree just keeps growing. Nobody leaves them on the trees that long, that’s all.

  • SAM I AM thats ME

I was learning with MY class about MY lulav and MY esrog and I tought MY class that in MY opinion it is pasul thats what I tought to MY sher alef

To Ann and Sam: the halachah is that there is no maximum size for an esrog – it can be as large as you want. Indeed, the Gemara mentions that R’ Akiva once had an esrog that was so big that he had to carry it around on his shoulder!

  • you are ignorant

to sam and ann dont start PASKENING HALACHAS if you dont know apples from orenge’s.

and sam it is not nice to make fun of some1 B’RABIM and this is definitly brabim and forsure now that we are days b4 YOM KIPPUR.happy rosh hashana.

  • Mishnayos

I think In Mishnayos Rebbe Yehuda would use an Esrog so big that required both hands,

its nice to see it in a picture

  • nrt

Any esrog that big would have broken the branch a while ago. What do you say to the possibility that it’s a squash that happens to resemble an esrog? (Squash-type vegetables, eg. pumpkins, can grow to very large sizes because the vine doesn’t need to support them – only feed them).
