Rosh Chodesh Kislev Marked At United Lubavitcher Yeshiva

Rosh Chodesh Kislev in United Lubavitcher Yeshiva was celebrated and highlighted by each division with beautiful programs and farbrengens.

The early head start classes gathered to learn about how the Rebbe came home from 770 with exciting visual props. Together, they recited the 12 פסוקים, made a לחיים, enjoyed cupcakes, and danced just as the חסידים danced on ראש חודש כסלו. 

Preschool had a special farbrengen where Morah Malkie read the story of ראש חודש כסלו, and the yingelach enjoyed a fun music and movement song. Everyone sang פסוקים, gave צדקה, said לחיים and had a delicious smiley face cupcake! Everyone got a special keychain to remind us that we are so happy and proud to be חסידים.

In honor of ראש חודש כסלו the talmidim in Pre1A- Kita Gimmel started their day being welcomed by lively music and a special breakfast. A special Fleishig Seuda was held in the dining room for lunch, where the talmidim heard about the events of ראש חודש כסלו and sang niggunim. In the afternoon, in celebration of the great miracle of this day, talmidim participated in an incredible niflaos haborei show.

Kita Daled- Kita Vov had a special lunch, Farbrengen and singing. A unique video presentation was shown with a questionnaire to follow along on the story of ראש חודש כסלו. A special Mezonos was enjoyed as well. 

On Motzei Shabbos Kita Zayin- Ches had a Melave Malka with Rabbi Hellinger, Shliach to Chevron, in honor of ראש חודש כסלו. On Sunday night, Kita Ches had a farbrengen with Rabbi Shmuel Tevel, Shliach in France. In school on Monday, Kita Zayin- Ches had another Farbrengen with Rabbi Lipskier. 

At United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, Chassidishe Yomim Tovim are an opportunity to imbue our Talmidim with the warmth of Chassidishket and instill pride in us as Chassidim of the Rebbe.
