Thousands of South Florida Campers Unite

Camps from across South Florida joined together for an annual camp unity day event on Thursday, Yud Bais Tammuz, which was held in Xtreme Action Park.

Rabbi Shmuly Gutnick, of the Chabad Youth Network of Florida, organized two incredible programs, one for the girls and one for the boys camps.

The day was filled with amazing activities which added up to a fun filled and meaningful day. The campers entered the largest indoor entertainment venue in Florida, which includes rope courses, arcades, bowling and roller skating.

This was followed by a rally where campers recited the twelve Pesukim, Tehillim, received a dime for Tzedakah and of course there was singing, cheering and dancing.

Rabbi Shmuly G. put on a spectacular show that had the kids spellbound and shrieking with joy. Juggling Fire, eating balloons, going in a jumbo balloon, making candy appear out of thin air and even lighting his hand on fire everyone was amazed and very entertained. A few lucky volunteers even got to go into the jumbo balloon. To end the day, a grand raffle was held with unbelievable prizes. Everyone left happy, united and ready to bring Moshiach now.

Among the camps that participated were Camp Gan Israel of Bal Harbor, Hallandale, Highland Lakes, Miami L.E.C., Parkland, Sunrise, Weston, Miami Pioneers, Lake Worth and West Boynton.
