Chabad Girls Academy Completes Accomplishing Year

The students of Chabad Girls Academy of Crown Heights marked the completion of an incredible year, filled with learning and achieving personal growth.

The students skills both in kodesh and chol subjects, achieving independence in their learning while gaining a deeper appreciation for yiddishkeit. Their questions about life and its purpose were addressed by a dedicated staff of teachers, who inspired them to be the best they can be.

Family and friends joined in for the graduation ceremony. Following the Rebbe’s kapital, Mrs. Devorah Leah Angyalfi, director of CGA, welcomed the crowd and gave over a message to the graduates highlighting their important role in serving Hashem saying, “Each one of you has a unique role and the tremendous power to carry it out.”

Using the well-known posuk of Yagaati Umatzasi Taamin, Mrs. Angyalfi expressed pride in each girl’s effort stating, “I am so proud of each and every one of you for all of the effort you have put into your learning this year.  You have worked hard and you have succeeded!”

The class presented a slide show of pictures and videos remembering all of the activities they did throughout the year. It included pictures from Sports, Art, Chumash, History, Dinim, Debate class, Science, English, Math and many more hands on lessons. They experienced a beautiful Shabbaton, Rosh Chodesh club monthly gatherings, and many inspiring farbrengens featuring different speakers. Smiles and laughter were expressed throughout the year as students enjoyed their learning. Each class brought new experiences that were educational and rewarding.

A collection of all of the girls work throughout the year was beautifully displayed on tables for guests to enjoy.

The evening concluded with the diplomas that were awarded to each student, along with a beautiful leather bound Siddur with their names engraved on it. Valedictorian was awarded to Sara Schultz, who excelled in her academics, and Salutatorian was given to Tali Berger for her excellence as well.

Sara shared, “I learned many things from CGA, but what I think I’ll remember the most is the Ahavas Yisroel which each girl shared, the memories and feelings will always remain in my heart.” The confident graduates walked back down the aisle ready to continue their journey successfully to high school.
