Photos: Monsey Avos U’Banim Off to a Good Start

Over forty children along with their fathers spent quality time learning together at the Avos U’bonim [Father and Son] learning program at Tzemach Tzedek Shul on Motzai Shabbosorganized, the evening was arranged by Cheder Chabad of Monsey.

    Fantastic program. Great incentive for everyone.
    BUT – can we please stop calling it Avos U’Bonim? Not everyone can have a father with whom to learn. Many communities have named the program “MiDor L’Dor” – Generation to Generation

    Yidden are Rachamonim – let’s take into account the boys who are nebach yesomim or from lebedike yesomim (divorced parents)

    Thanks to rabbi Shusterman who runs this program for the sake of our children, he is a true mechanich and chossid and a dugma Chaya for all of us.we are privileged to have him as our dean he should continue to help our Cheder grow begashmius and ruchnius.
