Bundle up! Where can a bochur get a coat?
I don’t live in NY, but have seen this before in pics and sometimes when visiting. (As a bubby, I wouldn’t want my grandson to c’v be the one in need and not know where to turn to.)
While most are bundled in appropriate winter gear, there are a few pics of a bochur in hat and jacket and merely a scarf. Even if he is only walking from the dorm across the street to 770, he should be dressed warmly. Possibly he’s from a warmer locale and doesn’t own a coat? I’ve read about Shaya Gordon giving out coats for kids in need, I’m sure there’s an organization for bochurim in need to turn to as well. Possibly info can be posted here or the mashpi’im can make sure to get a coat to them. V’nishmartem m’od l’nafshoseichem – a mitzvah like any other.
