Photos: ULY 7th Grade’s Year End Trip

Students in Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s 7th grade got to let loose in a year end trip of paintball shooting. The boys exhibited maturity and had a blast, so much so that the park staff complimented them.

“The boys exhibited enormous friendship while competing in such a tough sport, one which can easily lead to conflict,” said one of the trip organizers.

    What the Rebbe would say about this activity….based on this:
    Rabbi Yisrael Lebowitz of Tzach Eretz Yisrael mentioned to the Rebbe some of the prizes a children’s project included. Among the prizes was a soccer ball. The Rebbe commented, who forced him to include this prize? Have all other prizes in Eretz Yisrael been already exhausted? Among the people involved in this project did it dawn on anyone that in a Chabad contest, where the Alter Rebbe is involved, it’s inappropriate to have a prize be a soccer ball? Aren’t candies and bikes enough?

    The rebbe said many times that kids should not be playing with guns even fake ones or water guns, Even more so guns that can harm someone

    we do this in Tomchei Tmimim??? we must all be off our minds-what in the world are the mechanchim of this moissad thinking?when they will be at the ohel this shabbos they r going to tell the rebbe what they did with their talmidim,show him these pictures??LIsten guys ,we have lost our,moral compass ,this is absurdity and theee victims are these sweet kids that the rosh yeshiva in some mesivta will say“idont know if hes for our yeshiva , hes not a chassidisher bochurl”wonder why???.

    this trip encouraged the boys to learn more in the 2 weeks than the whole year. Now they have a good taste for learning. (even though i think its a goishe pursuit.)
