Just a few short days before the conclusion of this learning year, a select group of Bochurim in the Mesivta of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto went on a fun filled full day trip to Niagara Falls, New York.

Besides the stunning views as they crossed the border, they were treated to a spectacular up close view of the American falls, with a tour of cave of the winds, followed by a tour of Luna Island as well as the three sister islands.

The Bochurim then enjoyed a delicious BBQ and headed off to their final trip of the day; Jet boating in the Niagara River.

In order to earn this trip, the Bochurim worked very hard on mastering the simple as well as the Chasidishe meaning of the words of Davening. The Mivtza, which was started before Yud Shevat, provided the Bochurim with a wealth of knowledge which greatly enhanced their Davening and Kavana. The Bochurim were then given weekly tests, as well as a final on the entire Davening.

A number of Bochurim who excelled on all the tests, were awarded the new Tzivos Hashem Siddur as a prize for their hard work, thus enabling them to Daven with greater Kavana.

The Mivtza which was organized by Z.M. Levitansky, was run L’eilui Nishmas Horav Avraham ben Yitzchok Isaac Halevi Levitansky, and was majorly sponsored by an anonymous donor L’zchus L’rfua Shleima אילנה לאה בת שיינדל רחל.

Special thanks to all the sponsors, eltere Bochurim and Shluchim who helped make this Mivtza a reality. A special thank you also goes to Yossi Abrams who ensured that the financial part of the Mivtza would be taken care of in the fullest extent.
