In response to #1:
Camp is essential for children’s spiritual, emotional and physical growth. The staff are incredibly talented and imbue so much chayus into the children. They instill chassidishkeit that is lacking in many children’s lives.
Children thrive in this environment and it is worth every penny. I am not a wealthy person by any means but I have sent my boys to this camp for years and have never, ever asked for any discounts. The camp is deserving of every single penny. They work hard non-stop.
B”H there are scholarships for those who cannot afford. I have not gone that route as I feel I would never want to take from one who needs it more than I do.
Please watch your words as you may cause pain to parents who struggle.
