Montreal Beis Rivkah Students Do Acts of Kindness

In honor of Yud Shvat, all 550 students of Beth Rivkah Montreal were involved in special programs.

The preschool had a beautiful assembly depicting the mivtzoim in song and movement, followed by l’chaim and tzedakah.

Five busloads of elementary students visited 10 senior citizen homes throughout the city, to bring simcha and words of encouragement. The children received enthusiastic welcomes from residents and grateful staff. The students returned greatly inspired and happy to have fulfilled the Rebbe’s wishes. Before the children boarded the busses, they watched a lively video of the Rebbe by kos shel brocho.

Grades 7 & 8 prepared an exciting original mivtzoim carnival for close to 300 children from pre-school through grade 2. They also had their own inspiring farbrengen.

Grades 9, 10 and 11 had a beautiful, thought-provoking “Yom Iyun”. Highlights of the program were: davening together in the shul; reviewing the Rebbe’s maamor Basi Legani; workshops; Achos HaTmimim auction based on amount of points acquired; beautiful brunch arranged by the students and a Hiskashrus “Bee A Chosid” Chidon.

All students in the entire school (pre-school, elementary and high school) wrote an individual pan, which was brought to the Ohel.

Attention is now focused on bringing nachas to the Rebbe and Rebbetzin by making proper hachonos for Chof Beis Shvat through various activities.
