Aliya Rewards Members with Ski Shabbaton
Over 30 members of Aliya, who made an effort and attended weekly Shiurim and Shabbos Minyanim, were rewarded with a special Ski Shabbaton up in the mountains near Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
Friday morning the group loaded up into vans and traveled to Yeshivas Beis Menachem in Wilkes Barre where they spent an uplifting Shabbos, complete with Farbrengens and spiritual growth. Shabbos concluded with a musical Havdalah and a Kumzitz around a fire.
Sunday the group traveled up to Sno Mountain Resort where they spent the day skiing and snowboarding.
“For many who join this trip [it was their] first positive, sacred and meaningful Shabbos they have experienced in a very long time” said Aliya director Rabbi Moshe Feiglin.
