Baltimore Has Fried at Lag B’omer Parade!

Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore’s, administrator and founder, Rabbi Ephey Rosenbloom was the MC at the 2nd annual Grand Lag B’Omer Concert and Fair on Sunday May 22nd, 2011 at Yeshivat Rambam.

There were more than 2500 people of all walks of life attending, making it the most successful event ever! Young and old were excited and united together in all the festivities.

The miracle that happened there was known to all, the awesomeness of Avrohom Fried’s voice kept the clouds thinking twice about releasing even one drop of rain on the concert!

Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan, regional director of Maryland opened the program with a thought for the day. Rabbi Elchonon Lisbon, director of Chabad Chedar, led the children in saying the 12 Torah passages and Tehillim. Rabbi Yakov Horowitz held everyone spellbound with a spectacular story!

Avrohom Fried performed a free admission concert that had the crowd jumping out of their seats. There were pony rides, moon bounces, face painting, raffles and refreshments! Rabbi Ephey Rosenbloom thanked all the sponsors of the event, Rosenbloom Pest Control, Sukah Depot, Mendel Rosenbloom, and Chabad of Park Heights as well.

Rabbi Moshe Slavaticki and Rabbi Nochum Bukiet, 40 Bochrim from Yeshivas Lubavitch and many volunteers helped produce the most successful Lag B’Omer ever! A great time was had by all.
