Cleveland’s Friendship Circle Cafe

Friendship Circle of Cleveland held their first annual Café night, organized by the Teen Scene girl volunteers.

For Cafe night, the Friendship Circle served a restaurant style dinner, where over 120 people from the community attended and supported the hard work of the volunteer based organization benefitting children with special needs.

Together with the program coordinator, they designed the centerpieces, decorated the menus, baked the desserts and ran the entire event.

Teen Scene is a group of teenage volunteers who meet with their special teen friends to create a fun and creative social club. Teens with special needs have an opportunity to experience what most typical teens do with their peers: hang out and have fun.

The organization provides skill based workshops such as cooking, hygiene, organizing, responsibility and other activities.
