Photos: Descendants of the Alter Rebbe Meet in Jerusalem
JERUSALEM, Israel [CHI] — Over two hundred descendants of the Alter Rebbe gathered on Motzoei Shabbos for their annual gathering in Gutink Hall in Jerusalem.
Ahead of his Yartzeit on the 24th of Teves, Lubavitcher and other haredi Chassidim gathered to celebrate their family connection to Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, founder and first Rebbe of Chabad and the author of the Shulchan Aruch HaRav, Tanya and the Siddur Torah Or.

the alter rebbe lived a couple of generations ago. If you look at a family tree and how much it can grow ovr that many generation, i am surprised that there wer not more people present
