interesting to see the mossrim eli poltrack and yaakov shatz, the causes of unimaginable tragedies in the pictures attending the funeral for the death of a young boy that they caused with the transgression of messirsa while the community for the most part remained silent.
Sensationalist Journalism?
How could you take pictures of mourners?

re: Sensationalist Journalism
CH.info tries not taking pictures of mourners specifically, just the funeral in general.
I’ve seen this in the past.

I’m glad you know the cause of the 10 year old boy’s death. Why don’t you go tell the family.
A family just lost a child. Can’t you keep politics out of it?
TRU JEW
SIX MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY WERE THE SUBJECT OF A VICIOUS MESIRA BLOOD LIBEL, AND THE COMMUNITY STOOD SILENT. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT THIS ACCIDENT HAPPENED. TODAY WE STOOD SILENT WHILE WE BURIED A CHILD. HOW MANY MORE CHILDREN ARE WE GOING TO SCARIFIES. HOW MUCH LONGER CAN WE BE SILENT?
Shhhhhhhhhhh
Please nobody answer the lame, machlokes-inciting comments. The best thing we can do for the departed neshamos and, lehavdil, for Rabbi Lieberow’s recovery is to not to engage in machlokes.

maybe we need to stop fighting and he will lead us again
Mossrim vs Mourners
I do not understand why people are talking about mossrim now!
It is taking away from the sad emotion and making people twisty-turny.
What does it have to do with the death of two innocent Jews!??!?!
Hamokom yenachem…. amen!
what can we do to make it better?
wat shud we do? what to do to make things better? i dont get how.
if anyone has any ideas, it wud b a gud op ed.
moshiach now
AD MOSAI
I think that if the Rambam said about a mosser that he has no right to life.
So the mosser is the same as a murderer and i have seen it in my own eyes how 7 terrorists try to kill 6 Jews in Supreme Court for 6 weeks.
Why are Jews to go dance at funerals and not stop the killers before they kill ?
There is no different in halacha between a mosser and a killer even more . A mosser who is going to mosser Jewish money has the same din as a mosser on Jewish life.
So yes shame on crown heights to become Big Tzadikim only when the body is obvious. and not when you can save a life before there is a body and a funeral. AD MOSAI
Im Lo Achshuv Amusai!
When are people going to take the hint? We bury way too many young people all the while the ridiculous behavior of people like the moisrim continue without rebuke. Enough is enough! It is time to take out the trash so we can build towards bringing Moshiach. Hamokom yinachem eschem…..

MaddinBklyn you have it nailed.
People are asking Why, why is this happening, what can we do, how can we add etc…?
What can you do? Start taking action. Start looking around and see whats going on with your friends and neighbors.
You can STOP being silence and start making noise.
Stop the Messira, STOP the justifying, STOP evil!
To those who write “now is not the time”.
When is the time?
When can I come to you to discuss this?
Did you have time a month ago, when the case was taking place at 320 Jay street? Did you care then? Do you care now?
How many innocent people including children must die becuase of sins of others?
Real acduse

Yes now is the time, if not now then when?
When was a good time, yesterday, a week ago, month ago?
You want to see true achduse you should have came to 320 Jay street to see six Jews sitting on trial together in unity, ready (if g-d forbid it came to that) to fall together.
Self righteous do nothings.
Those who are kind to the wicked will end up being wicked to the kind!!!

“Please nobody answer the lame, machlokes-inciting comments”.
Yes yes, because if the mossrim would have had their way g-d forbid then we would…
1. be able to cry about how we let this happen (all the self righteous comments that we see AFTER a tragedy like the one above) etc…
2. when the shomrim six would be asked from within prison by fellow inmates on why they are in jail, the shomrim six could have just replied “just some silly Machlokes, no big deal”.
In other Jewish communities when one tragedy after another occurs, they get together to figure out what they could do more (in Torah or Mitzvos) and what they are NOT doing (to stop Evil etc…).
Messira is not politics (Machlokes), it’s not about whos doing the Messira and on who the messira is on. Messira is evil and its happening in OUR community and it MUST STOP!!!
Forget about whos involved in the Messira, start thinking about that fact that its happening and what you did or will do to stop it. How many more Children must die?
Action is what counts
When blood is gushing and flooding your streets you don’t stand silence!!!
When blood is gushing and flooding your streets you don’t stand with your hand wailing, crying and asking WHY!!!
When blood is gushing and flooding your streets you don’t stand
around wondering what to do next!!!
What you DO, is take ACTION and STOP the BLOOD!!!
Ask and plead latter. The time is now, the silence must stop now!!!
“Groaning by itself won’t do a bit of good. A groan is only a key to open the heart and eyes, so as not to sit there with folded arms, but to plan orderly work and activity, each person wherever he can be effective, to campaign for bolstering Torah, spreading Torah and the observance of Mitzvot. One person might do this through his writing, another with his oratory, another with his wealth”.

A family has lost a child. His father lies injuried. Why would someone, anyone want to cause further grief to this family?
Please, reach inside of yourselves and put away politics and bitterness against others, reach out and comfort the mourners, the little children that have lost their brother, the mother and father who have lost a son, the grandparents who buried a grandchild, the uncles and aunts and cousins who buried a relative. This is not the time for political agendas. This is the time to be a mentsch and comfort the mourners.
