The Op-ed of Op-eds

In honor of the month of Adar, a reader sent us this humorous poem (re: op-ed) about the things Lubavitchers talk about in Crownheights.info op-eds:

Some things we write are seasonal, others are topics that are always in,
Write it anonymously – putting your name is a cardinal sin.

“I give full credit but…” false dues work before cutting loose,
Sound sympathetic, sound caring, then hurl your abuse.

In Tishrei of the guests the writers never seem to bore,
Yes, yes we read last year about the disregard for the law.

Oh Chabad Lite a topic with a catch-name so very unchartered,
We can write 1.1, 2.0, replies and comments we’re just getting started.

If you are a bochur why not write for some mid-Bochur crisis advice,
Oh you want to write about Chinuch – don’t even think twice.

Shidduch articles, come one writer, come writers of any age,
This is a topic for ghost-experts – we would love to give you a stage.

How ’bout how you were treated last summer that is kind of new,
Wait! hear it comes again, its about the beard of Mattis ‘you know who.’

We know about missing bochurim who vanish into a glut of danishes and caffeine,
Whose up for one on Ahavas Yisroel, not the concept – the shul I mean.

What amazes is that no matter how many writers there actually may be,
For each one Chabad has a photographer, in fact we probably have three.
