They say that when a politician says “Yes” they mean maybe, when they say “Maybe” they mean no, and if they say no, then they aren’t a politician.
Walking this narrow line is sometimes a necessity for a politician trying to appeal to as broad an audience as possible, but from the viewpoint of the electorate, it is of utmost importance to cut away the political facade and make estimated calculations on where exactly they stand.

On January 3rd 2007 following a sweeping electoral victory that gave her a whopping 93% of the vote, Yvette Clarke assumed office as Congresswoman for New York’s 11th congressional district, which includes Brownsville,Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Flatbush, Kensington, Midwood, Prospect Heights and Park Slope.
It is becoming increasingly clear for all to see that she is not a friend of Israel by any means. For some, the tell tale signs became clear early on, when she signed a bill that called for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah during the second Lebanon war, effectively calling for pressure on Israel that would limit its efforts to fight for comprehensive security on its northern border.
She continues to declare that she supports Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, but these very words in themselves imply that there is an argument that would dictate otherwise. One never hears these terms spoken in relation to any other country on earth because it goes without saying.
Only six weeks ago, she was one of a small congress minority that voted against Res. 867 that “called on the President and the Secretary of State to oppose unequivocally any endorsement or further consideration of the Report of the United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict.” This factfinding report that she did not oppose is more commonly known as the Goldstone Report, recently described by Alan Dershowitz as a “defamation written by an evil, evil man.“
But this week she continued her assault on Israel’s efforts to secure its citizens, when she signed a letter to the President, organized by Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison, who has been called out for his connections with CAIR a Muslim representative body that may have had affiliations with terror groups.
The letter urges the president to press for immediate relief for the citizens of Gaza as an urgent component of broader Middle East peace efforts, saying that “the humanitarian and political consequences of a continued near-blockade would be disastrous.” By signing the letter she has also aligned herself with anti Israel group J-Street that supported the initiative. JStreet has been described by the Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren, as opposing “all policies of all Israeli governments.”
Not only does this letter attempt to further limit the extent to which Israel has a right to defend her citizens, and would bring an end to effective security measures that have almost brought a complete halt to successful suicide bombing in Israel, it also has slanderous insinuations. The letter talks of a blockade when in fact the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website reports that in 2009 alone, Israel allowed for 703,224 tons of humanitarian aid and 105,600,128 liters of fuel to be delivered into the Gaza Strip following Operation Cast Lead.
“The IDF invested major resources to enable the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip” stated Col. Moshe Levi, the head of the IDF’s Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration, in November 2009. According to Levi, humanitarian aid to Gaza increased by 900 percent compared to the previous year, with over 22, 893 humanitarian aid trucks entering into the strip.
Although the Jewish community is by no means a single issue voting bloc and perhaps we may stand to benefit in other areas by staying on good terms with her, as a matter of principle and self respect we should challenge her tooth and nail and campaign against her in the next election. Her votes effect the positions of the U.S. administration and the policies that they influence are matters of survival in Israel.
A very clear message must be sent to Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and others like her in congress that Jews in Brooklyn and around the United States care deeply about the safety of their brethren in Israel and their physical security is our absolute top priority.

Republican
Even if every Jew in her district voted against her (of course, the Chaninas & Eli Slavins etc will still continue to endorse her, presumably because of the invitations to the White House & the photo ops) we don’t carry enough votes to oust her. At least, not yet.
However, we MUST show a UNITED FRONT. We MUST vote against her, as a bloc, to send her a message. It won’t make any negative difference to how she treats her Jewish constituents: clearly, she is no friend of Israel or indeed, of Jews. But it WILL impact every other politician whose constituency is heavily Jewish. It will show them that the days of lying down & taking the garbage they pour on our heads are over.
we can only get her out of office if we register to vote, and actually vote!
please register as a democrat, so we can get her out in a primary, in the general elections there is no chance.

Would this make a yid (eli Slavin) lose his parnasa? Should we campain for something that hurts a yid and fellow chosid? I am not sure if someone claiming to have ahavas yisroel would do this?!

If there’s a strong viable candidate running against her in the Democratic primary then throwing her out is a strong possibility. In the General Election it becomes almost an impossibilty since no Republican stands a chabce.
ACTION
Our federal congress women is in war with Isreal
Our NYS Senate is a major advocate promoting gay marriage
It seems that none of us vote
If we dont vote we could CH”V face the same riots we did in 1991
I cant understand how any lubavitcher endorses any of these sick people
Chance
We do stand a chance because the vast majority of people in brooklyn dont care who is our congress
Hope
As long as there will be another african american canitdate – she could loose.
Most of the people who voted for her, are probably just intrested in an african american who could present their veiws.

Unfortunately this won’t make any difference unless you hit where it counts: Sperlin and Slavin. Have picket lines at their homes. Get the word out. Sperlin knows she is a screw up who can’t be trusted but he’ll continue to bluff for her because of the photo ops and parties. Make him renounce her and you’ll hit your mark. Slavin is only Sperlin’s puppet. He couldn’t care less; he gets a paycheck from her.

There will be other Black Candidates that will persumablly be able to muster 30 % of the black vote toghether with the Jewish Vote the Job can be done.
The Real Joe
At least 3 of the neighborhoods She Represents have large Jewish population yes its true we are still to small to beat her but we have enough votes to put in a different candidate even if this new one anit gonna be close to perfect I am starting to think almost anybody would be better then her
SLAVIN HAS ONLY HISSELF INTEREST IN MIND
Slavin has never done anything but help the fires of Machloikes in the neighborhood. Sperlin only needs his picture in the paper and invitations to political gatherings. The Council these days doesn’t do anything for the community. The only thing they have done since they ran the phony election is bring more derision to the commiunity and insult the Rov that the Rebbe with Mesiras Nefesh put in place.
Slavin - Ahavas Yisroel????

So whats more important, Slavin loosing his job from working with an anti israel or thousands of jewish lives be put in danger????
Get her out now!!!!!!
And to the one who mentioned about a yid losing parnossa, what nonsense! So we have to reelect Obama to keep Rahm from losing his job? That is blackmail. I’m sorry. We don’t keep an anti semite in power because she has a jewish employee.
