BDE: Rabbi Menachem Mendel Plotkin, 43, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Plotkin OBM, a young Chabad father of nine who passed away over Shabbos.

He was 43 years old.

Mendel was previously the Menahel at the Yeshiva of Toronto.

Anash worldwide joined together to say tehillim Friday as he battled for his life in an ICU in Toronto, Canada.

He is survived by his wife Goldie (nee Wolosow) and nine children.

He is also survived by his parents, Rabbi Mayer and Sarah Leah Plotkin (Montreal, Canada), and his siblings; Miriam Notik (Montreal, Canada), Rivkie Bogomilsky (New Jersey), Shterny Raskin (Montreal, Canada), Levi Plotkin (Crown Heights), Shmarya Plotkin (Montreal, Canada), Nechama Dinah Lipskier (Crown Heights), Yosef Plotkin (North Carolina), and Malka Michla Perlow (Crown Heights).

The Levaya will take place Sunday, Shomrei Hadas at approximately 2:00pm and passing by 770 at approximately 3:00pm.
