BDE: Rabbi Yisroel Meir Popack, 74, OBM
With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Yisroel Meir Popack OBM, the head Shliach of Colorado. He passed away on Tuesday, the 25th of Nissan, 5782.
He was 74 years old.
He is survived by his children, Dini Cohen (Chicago, IL), Avremi Popack (Long Beach, CA), Elchanan Popack (Los Angeles, CA), Tzvi Hirsh Popack (Denver, CO), Menachem Mendel Popack (Stapleton, CO), Devorah Leah Minkowicz (Alpharetta, GA), Shneur Zalman Popack (Denver, CO), Yehuda Leib Popack (Denver, CO), Rivkah Popack (Denver, CO), Berel Popack (Denver, CO), Bracha Popack (Denver, CO), and Levi Popack (Denver, CO).
He is also survived by his siblings Yossi Popack (Five Towns, NY), Mrs. Toby Hendel (Migdal Haemek, Israel), Mrs. Chaya Rivka Feldman (Crown Heights), Mrs. Chana Piekarsky (Crown Heights), and Mrs. Zeesy Raskin (Burlington, VT).
The levaya will take place Wednesday, in New York, details to be announced.
