BDE: Rabbi Nochum Ber Pressman, 50, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Nochum Ber Pressman OBM, Shliach of the Rebbe in Potsdam, Germany. He passed away on the 5th of Adar 2, 5782, following an illness.

He was 50 years old.

Born in Tashkent in the year 1971, Nochum Ber immigrated with his family to Eretz Yisroel at the age of three and a half, settling down in the Chabad community of Nachalas Har Chabad.

In the year Tof Shin Nun Beis, he joined the Kvutza of bochurim who traveled to learn in 770 for the year.

After completing his studies, he married and moved with his family to Potsdam, Germany where he dedicated his life as a Shliach of the Rebbe.

In 2009, Rabbi Pressman received permits to begin building a large Chabad House in a prestigious location in the city. The cornerstone for the building was laid at the Kinus Hashluchim that year.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Michal (nee Bostomski), and his children: Mrs. Miriam Sudak and Menachem Mendel, Avraham, and Chaya Mushka.

The Levaya will take place today, Tuesday in Eretz Yisroel.
