BDE: Rabbi Asher Heber, 81, OBM
With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Asher Halevi Heber OBM, a Crown Heights resident who was zoiche to have the Rebbe as Kvatters at his bris. He passed away on Thursday, the 8th of Nissan, 5780.
He was 81 years old.
He is survived by his wife Nechama (nee Goldstein), and children Rabbi Noach Heber (New York), Mrs. Yaffie Begun (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Mrs. Brocha Chana Metzger (Manhattan), as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter Rivka Barber OBM of Melbourne, Australia.
