We are saddened to inform you that Esther Klein, mother of Rabbi Dov Hillel Klein, passed away Friday evening, May 14th, at 8:00pm.

Funeral services will take place on Monday afternoon, May 17th, at 1:00pm sharp in the McCormick Auditorium of the Norris University Center of Northwestern University, 1999 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208. Following services, internment will take place at West Lawn Cemetery, 7801 West Montrose Avenue, Norridge, IL 60706.

The family will be sitting shiva until 10:00pm Monday night at the home of Francine & Scott Eisner, 571 Caren Drive, Buffalo Grove, IL, 60089. Afternoon/evening services will begin at 7:30pm.

Shiva will continue Tuesday morning at the home of Rabbi Dov Hillel Klein, 2019 Maple Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201, with morning services at 7:45am. Due to the onset of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, which begins Tuesday night, shiva will conclude at 5:00pm Tuesday. Individuals are also welcome to join Rabbi Klein and his family for services at 7:45pm Tuesday night at Tannenbaum Chabad House, 2014 Orrington Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Tannenbaum Chabad House, 2014 Orrington Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201.
