Yeshivah at The Ohel Lit Up LI & Queens
Once again, The Yeshiva by The Ohel HaKadosh organized Mivtza Chanukah with a “bang”, this time with uniquely-designed “Chanukah Mitzva Tanks”, helping many Shluchim in Long Island and Queens with their Chanukah celebrations and Menorah lightings.

With the collective help of the energetic Temimim Levi Duchman and Chaim Eilenberg, and arrangements by Hatomim Mendy Hecht, the project turned to be a major success! Hundreds of Yidden were touched, wrapped Tefillin – some for their first time – lit menorahs on-board, and enjoyed the delicious doughnuts and refreshments – all in the Chanukah spirit.
On the 8th Night of Chanukah, the mivtzoyim climaxed with a Farbrengen & lebedike dancing at Yeshiva University, and Mivtzoyim in central Manhattan.
Many were inspired to add in good deeds and prayers, especially after the Mumbai attacks, and the recent Chanukah Wonderland accident in their own vicinity.
The entire project was L’Iluy Nishmas HaKedoshim, Rabbi & Mrs. Gavriel Noach & Rivka Holtzberg HY”D.
This is yet another program of many at Ohel Chabad Lubavitch, directed by Rabbi Abba Refson.
