Sunday evening, Isru Chag Sukkos, Oholei Torah held their annual Tzeischem L’sholom for the 126 Talmidei Hashluchim who will be going to communities around the world.

Sunday evening, Isru Chag Sukkos, Oholei Torah held their annual Tzeischem L’sholom for the 126 Talmidei Hashluchim who will be going to communities around the world.

It was attended by the Talmidei Hashluchim, parents, Hanholas Hayeshiva and current Talmidim as well.

Rabbi Nachman Schapiro, Senior Mashpia was the MC, and Rabbi Yisroel Friedman, Rosh Yeshiva spoke on behalf of the Hanhola. Also Rabbis Charitonow, Oster and Korf spoke as well.

Rabbi Hertz spoke on behalf of the parents and the guest speaker was Rabbi Leible Groner.

On behalf of the shluchim, Yosef Dalfin (New Haven, CT), Schneur Broh (Toras Emes, Israel) and Yuda Drizin (Argentina) addressed the gathered crowd.

The event was organized on by Rabbi Zalman Vilenkin, assistant Mashpia for Chassidus.

    if only 126 out of 230 bocrim were sent on shlicus, then this is a major issue for the future of OT.

    either half of the bocrim didnt qualify, or there was not enugh places to send the bochrim.

    it is well known that the only reason boys go to OT is for the shlichus, if this is no longer gurenteed then OT will dwindle.

    as a matter of fact there used to me 300 boys there, and this year there is less then 200
